I think it’s massively funny. You might not, but thanks to Dave Pollard for the link to I am eating my husband’s soul, the blog of a woman who calls herself Katy. An excerpt:
Last night we had dinner at Curt and Sarah’s house, who are long-time friends of Eric’s.
Often I sense hostility and something else… befuddlement?… when I am around Eric’s friends.

I think it is quite funny actually 🙂 to mangle Teddy Roosevelt’s old adage – Stomp loudly and carry a sharp pin (to prick pretentious bastards balloons’ of course) 🙂
Very funny blog, Katy’s is. She’s a keeper.
So too is Emma Peel.
I spent way too much time this afternoon reading about the Avengers and John Steed’s suits. I didn’t buy the book = how did you ever come across that? – but I think I might have to put it on my Christmas list. The Avengers and The Prisoner had to be two of my favorite TV shows from my childhood. And Danger Man. Yipes!
I am not a number I am a free man. I can see how those shows and the high style defintely formed my aesthetic of television.
A heap of wheat, says the Song of Songs
but I’ve never seen wheat in a pile 🙂
did you like it?
